This is a great time to be working in GIS, business process management and document management. 2010 is an especially exciting time for all forms of location-based services, geospatial apps, web mapping and GIS.

There has been an explosion of interest and popularity, technological development and accessibility over the last 3 years - even more than we would have anticipated, and we're eternal optimists about geospatial.

While 2009 was reported to have seen only a 1% increase in the growth of the GIS industry, 2007 saw 17.4% and 2008 saw 11%. Industry leaders are predicting a return to around 11% growth in 2010.

As established experts in the development and hosting of sophisticated web-based GIS applications, particularly those that integrate with valuable public and private data sources, we have been watching these changes from the middle of the action.
