| Industry's First ASP.Net GIS Application Announced - May 2002 |

HOUSTON, TX, May 20, 2002 - The geographic information system industry's first application using Microsoft's new ASP.Net 1.0 framework was announced today by R7 Solutions, a Houston information technology, business process management and geographic information system (GIS) consulting firm specializing in the energy, real estate and government services sector. The new application is called GeoRoom and will provide a rapid integration path for enterprise applications and databases into sophisticated GIS systems like ESRI's ArcGIS. As a result, when a powerful and innovative new technology platform like Microsoft's ASP.Net comes along, we want to ensure that we develop market-leading experience with it immediately," said the company's CEO, K. The company indicated that it was already seeing increased effeciency and speed in the database integration process using the ASP.Net framework, and is working to release integration modules for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2 and a variety of document management systems including Documentum, FileNet and Microsoft SharePoint.
