HOUSTON, TX, May 20, 2002 - The geographic information system industry's first application using Microsoft's new ASP.Net 1.0 framework was announced today by R7 Solutions, a Houston information technology, business process management and geographic information system (GIS) consulting firm specializing in the energy, real estate and government services sector.

The new application is called GeoRoom and will provide a rapid integration path for enterprise applications and databases into sophisticated GIS systems like ESRI's ArcGIS.
