HOUSTON, TX, February 26, 2008 - R7 Solutions rolled out a comprehensive report building, management and presentation system for the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) today that integrates with the METRO GeoRoom installation the organization has used since 2006 for end-to-end real estate land acquisition business process management.

Providing dramatic enhancements to the existing reporting functions built into GeoRoom, Reporting Services includes a "smart client" that allows any authorized METRO user to compose a new report over the web, save that report, and share it with other users. Since the METRO GeoRoom is populated with thousands of project and land records, this enhanced, distributed reporting capability brings enormous advantages to the organization's transparency, accountability, ability to forecast, and management oversight of critical process.

R7 Solutions provided an initial set of reports and report templates, trained specific METRO employees to build their own reports, and trained all land agents in how to find and view the reports.

GeoRoom as implemented for METRO provides access to parcel ownership, municipal utility district and school district boundaries, floodplains, market research, and aerial photography. GeoRoom users can record notes, annotate locations, develop complex projects around locations and areas, and all information can be shared with other users with a built-in access and security management system.
