Bing Maps (formerly Microsoft Virtual Earth) is used by R7 Solutions to deliver fast, inexpensive mapping applications that require high resolution aerial photography and constantly updated base maps.

R7 Solutions builds the application in ASP.NET while Microsoft's mapping "cloud" provides aerial photography, base maps, routing functions, traffic data, 3D urban building models, birds-eye view and business locations. Bing Maps proves to be an excellent platform for a wide variety of business and consumer mapping applications.

Bing Map applications are especially suitable for small to mid-sized organizations without an installed geographic information system or ongoing committment to GIS and can serve as a stepping stone to more sophisticated applications.

MapPoint from Microsoft provides an easy desktop environment, similar to Microsoft Office, for creating and publishing business maps. With built-in data importing and mapping wizards, easy connections to Excel and Access, and a wide array of map symbology and markup tools, MapPoint is a great solution for performing analysis or publishing static maps.

DBXtra is an ad hoc reporting tool for database applications that allows end-users to design and deploy reports and charts without reliance on software developers. The DBXtra client/server application allows end-users to develop their own reports, charts and complex queries in desktop client software, similar in appearance to Microsoft Access. The reports are then published directly back to the web application for other users to view.
